Arsenic in Water in Tampa, Lakeland, Clearwater, St Petersburg, & Plant City
Arsenic is a common water issue in FL, however, it can be easily and affordably removed with an under-sink filter from EcoWater of Central Florida.
According to the CDC, “Arsenic can enter the water supply from natural deposits in the earth or from industrial and agricultural pollution. It is widely believed that naturally occurring arsenic dissolves out of certain rock formations when groundwater levels drop significantly. Some industries in the United States release thousands of pounds of arsenic into the environment every year. Once released, arsenic remains in the environment for a long time. Arsenic is removed from the air by rain, snow, and gradual settling. Once on the ground or in surface water, arsenic can slowly enter groundwater. High arsenic levels in private wells may come from certain arsenic-containing fertilizers used in the past or industrial waste. It may also indicate improper well construction or overuse of chemical fertilizers or herbicides in the past.”
How do you know if you have arsenic?
A simple water test can inform you as to the presence and quantity of arsenic in your water. EcoWater of Central Florida offers water testing as well as professional analysis of what the test results mean so you know the best way to move forward with treatment.

I recently engaged with EcoWater and was truly impressed... with their service. From the initial consultation, Carlos was a wealth of information, guiding me through every step with transparency and honesty. Their tech team was prompt, coming out to install just a few days after we finalized our agreement. The installation was swift and thorough, and they provided clear instructions. I appreciated that everything was taken care of for me, right down to the initial supply of water. The difference in our water quality is immediately noticeable; both its feel and smell have markedly improved. To ensure everything was in perfect order, Carlos even returned to check on the water and confirm that the system was functioning as intended. All in all, EcoWater stands out as a reputable company with exceptional service. Highly recommended!read more
Initially, I had Culligan and Kinetco come to our home to... test the water and present me their options. I was about to purchase a Kinetco system and saw an EcoWater sign at Costco so thought I would get a 3rd opinion.Joe Agostino arrived the day after I called and offered a more comprehensive solution, in terms of water treatment and warranty, at a lower price than Culligan and Kinetco so I went with EcoWater and could not be happier.April quickly arranged to have the softener installed within 3 days and Joe followed up by testing the water a few weeks after the install to ensure all settings were correct for my specific water situation and the softener and RO systems were performing as advertised.I can't say enough about the responsiveness of April (Office) and Joe (Sales). Customer service like this is very hard to come by these days.Thank you for a job well done!read more
Our technician Adam Walker was amazing. I never took the... time to ever write a review, but in this case, I’m glad to give accolades to a wonderful young man who is so proficient in his work. Did I mention how friendly and respectful he was? A job well done and a great employee of eco water systems. Today was a hot 🥵 one and he didn’t complain of the heat just went straight to his work, like Santa Claus. I left him with some drinks and some ice cream 🍦! Thanks again, AdamJersey Juneread more

If you’re looking for a great water softener I highly... recommend Eco Water Systems. I did a lot of research and purchased the ERR 3700 from Eco. Joe is so focused on the Customer, which is rare these days. After 3 visits to the Dermatologist, with no results, this unit healed my skin issues in 3 weeks. We were running low on salt (you get 1 yr free salt delivery) and Joe brought out bags of salt the next day. April and Patricia in the office are great also. Eco, the office and Joe remind me of the days when the Customer came first. This is why my review is so lengthy. I cannot express how much I appreciate doing business with this company. Joe’s last name is Agostino! Just want to say Thank You!Beth W.read more
